I changed the setting in the rfm file for the truck MOD to have the Brake Bias adjustable.

Anyone running with CanAm on our servers will have to download this update. It's in the MOD section of our Dowload page.

If you'd rather make the change ypurself I've included what and where to change the setting in the rfm file.

Open your rfm file and find the paragraph listed below.....Change the -1 to 43, save the file and you're good to go.

// Settings that are free to be changed regardless of fixed or parc ferme setup. This can be overridden by the
// player file. You must add the values of each setting that drivers are free to change:
// 1 = steering lock
// 2 = brake pressure
// 4 = starting fuel
// 8 = fuel strategy
// 16 = tire compound
// 32 = brake bias
// 64 = front wing
// 128 = engine settings (rev limit, boost, and engine braking)
// For example, the default free settings are: steering lock (1) + brake pressure (2) + fuel strategy (Cool = 11.
// Possible values are -1 (use default value) up to 255 (which equals 1+2+4+8+16+32+64+128).
FreeSettings = 43

My brother Bob had the same problem Damon.....

Just go into the rfm folder and open the truck rfm you already have in there....

find the paragraph I noted in the thread and just change the -1 to 43 and save it and you'll be golden.

I'm able to change those settings on our server. I don't know what your server setup looks like, but anyway read below.

You must rename the RFM file to CWS.rfm and then
you must open that file and change the top line from
Mod Name = SCE Trucks 0.7
to this -> Mod Name = CWS Trucks 0.7
or your going to have problems with this file in everyones game. Trust me, been there and done that...LOL
Also if you don't rename the file and you leave it as SCE_Truck_Series.rfm
Anyone who races in another league other than the MSRL is going to get an RFM mismatch and will no doubt get booted out.

Yes and 43 is the same number we run in MSRL in that configuration...

Ok everyone here's the deal.

I messed up so if you're gonna yell at me I'm telling you right now,

I'LL RUN AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK Embarassed

Anyway I need everyone to redownload the rfm file here and replace the one you have.

If you're brave enough and rather not download it just go into your truck rfm folder an open the (SCE_Truck_Series.rfm) file with Wordpad or Notepad and change that 43 back to -1 and save it....

All there is to it.... Laughing

Sorry for the confusion.
